田 舍
呼 唤 携 锄 至
安 排 筑 圃 忙。
儿 童 眼 落 叶
鸟 雀 噪 斜 阳。
烟 火 村 声 远
林 著 野 气 香。
乐 哉 今 岁 事
天 末 稻 云 黄。

Rural Fields and Houses
From a distance, they callout while carrying their hoes
Millet lined up, impatiently awaiting their turn to be threshed.
After sunset the children lie down to rest within the leaves
More chirping sparrows as the dusk grows.
Distant village sounds from their smoky fires
Open country forest also releases an atmosphere of many fragrances.
Current happy times for those who plant and harvest
Over the rice paddies, a yellow sky and clouds aglow.
