初 入 淮 河: 四 绝 句
船 离 洪 泽 岸 头 沙
人 到 淮 河 意 不 佳。
何 必 桑 乾 方 是 远
中 流 以 北 即 天 涯。

Chuan li hong ze an tou sha
Ren dao huai he yi bu jia.
He bi sang gan tang shi yuan
Zhong liu yi bei ji tian ya.

Boat departs through vast wetlands to a national border
Arrive at the Huai River, now the people not so beautiful.
The remote Sanggan River far off in the distance
Northern half of Huai River reaches the shore’s horizon.

Sanggan River: Originates in Shanxi Province to merge into the Yang River in Hebei, providing a drainage system for the Huai River.
