This Northern Visitor: Western Rivers Moon
This northern visitor, early in the year eyebrows are happy
Eastern goddesses attract the displays of a prosperous new year.
Evening overcast sky hides the wind and rain
Should also protect the apricot trees with their small red buds.
Before the Lantern Days, I can appreciate the end of these evenings
My hometown still with the remains of snow and cold weather.
Shiny and glittering curtains and screens of fluid flower patterns
Daybreak, arrows of light penetrate these southern towers.
Notes:
Lantern Days: These festival days usually occur from early February to early March. Specifically during a full moon, on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month
