Lightning and thunder startle the hibernating animals.
Startled pigeons begin to vigorously cry out
Wind-blown green poplar trees hidden from view.
Again jade incense burner smoke lends its fragrance to her tear-moistened handkerchief
Thick and dewed apricot buds touch a wall and her make-up.
Her still moist rouge like a thin branch empty of twigs and flowers
By herself in a well-painted building.
