登 新 平 楼
去 国 登 此 楼
怀 归 伤 暮 秋。
天 长 落 日 远
水 净 寒 波 流。
秦 云 起 岭 树
胡 雁 飞 沙 洲。
苍 苍 几 万 里
目 极 令 人 愁。

Qu guo deng ci lou
Huai gui shang mu qiu.
Tian chang luo ri yuan
Shui jing han bo liu.
Qin yun qi ling shu
Hu yan fei sha zhou.
Cang cang ji wan li
Mu ji ling ren chou.
Climb the Xin Ping Tower
Go out of the capital to climb this tower
Late autumn sunset, thinking sadly of returning home.
Sun setting down a long way in the distance
River water cold and clean, wavelets flow.
Qin clouds arise into trees and mountain ranges
Migrating north, geese fly onto the sandbars.
Deep blues for thousands of miles
As far as the eyes can see, a cause for human melancholy.
