遣 悲 怀： 三 首
昔 日 戏 言 身 后 意
今 朝 皆 到 眼 前 来。
衣 裳 已 施 行 看 尽
针 线 犹 存 未 忍 开。
尚 想 旧 情 怜 婢 仆
也 曾 因 梦 送 钱 财。
诚 知 此 恨 人 人 有
贫 贱 夫 妻 百 事 哀。

Xi ri xi yan shen hou yi
Jin zhao jie dao yan qian lai.
Yi shang yi shi xing kan jin
Zhen xian you cun wei ren kai.
Shang xiang jiu qing lian bi pu
Ye ceng yin meng song qian cai.
Cheng zhi ci hun ren ren you
Pin jian fu qi bai shi ai.

In former days she joked with me, what can I do without her
With the arrival of today’s dawn this reality has emerged.
Already I have given away all of her clothes
But my clothes mended by her will not disappear.
Think of how well she treated our young servant girls
Because I dream of her, I too will give them support money.
Sincerely know almost all couples may have to face sorrows and loss
They help each other by the hundreds to survive the poor times.
