Service Lady Startled: Yumei People
Service lady startled and warns us of another arrival of storm clouds
Strange how the flower vase is almost all frozen.
Qingming days near, yet many snowflakes are in flight
Ocean birch leaf pear and willow trees weaken in this cold.
Royal ancestors deeply drunk under their velvet and felt canopy
Who cares about the cold while wearing thin silk gauze clothes.
Very satisfied in the light smoke from a lantern of two fragrant candles
Like the people who imitate the Buddha with concerned eyebrow tips wrinkled.
Notes:
Qingming days: Celebrated in early April, it is a time when families attend to the graves of ancestors. Also known as Tomb Sweeping Day, they also can lay in fresh flowers.
